Did you know?

Did you know that I NEED 8 hours of sleep a night? Like I can’t function the next day unless I get enough SLEEP.

Did you know that I LOVE breakfast? I enjoy mornings. Breakfast food is the best; I could eat it for every meal.

Did you know that washing dishes is the chore I hate most? It makes me want to barf, but I have to suffer through it.

Did you know that deep down inside I have some nerd in me? Example: I want to decorate a room in my future house with old calculators and abacuses{plural form of abacus}.

Did you know that I diagnosed myself with ADD? I can’t have a full conversation without losing track of what I was saying… wait what was I talking about? Ha

Did you know that I have a file on my computer with ideas for my future house? I also have a file in my drawer of house pictures I tore out of magazines.

Did you know that I like things to be organized, but I hate the actual process of organizing?

Did you know that me and my friends sit around and talk about the future WAY to much? {Babies, Houses, Husbands, Weddings……} All girls do it right?

Did you know that my sister and I are total opposites, but best-friends at the same time? {Loud v. Quiet, Blonde v. Brown, Diva v. Grandma(lol that’s what she calls me)}

Did you know that I am addicted to caffeine? I can’t function without it. During the school year I take a No-Doze every morning and drink LOTS of coffee.

Did you know that my mind changes constantly about the idea of a tattoo? I would like one for a week or so, but I could never decide on something to put permanently on my skin.

Did you know that those are all random things you never needed to know? Sorry for wasting your time!

Show Us Your Life

I have been looking forward to this day for a long time. Kelly over at Kelly's Korner is hosting a "Show Us Your Life-Single Girls/Guys" today. She has been talking about this for a while and I think it is such a great idea. Everyone is posting links to their blogs on her website of any single girls/guys they know, and other single people are going there and finding new people they would like to meet.

So today I would like you to meet my sweet single friend Kelsea.

I am at work so I don't have many pictures with me. But that is her in the middle.

Kelsea is a senior at Arkansas Tech University. She is originally from central Arkansas. Her major is public relations and she loves it! She will graduate in May 2011.

That is her on the bottom!

I met Kelsea my freshman year of college through a bible study. We were instantly friends. You can't be with Kels and not have fun.
Some of her interests include:

-Dancing, I'm pretty sure she has been dancing on some kind of dance team since she was a tiny little girl.

-Baseball, she loves going to baseball games! She loves the Redsox and I know after college she would love to move to Boston.

-Music, Kels is always finding the funnest concerts to go to.

-Fashion, she has the cutest taste and I can't even count the number of times I have gone over to her place to borrow an outfit!

-Cooking, that girl can cook! She gets it honestly because her mom is an amazing cook too.

I just think Kelsea is the perfect candidate for this "Show Us Your Life". She is the sweetest girl and definitely deserves the most wonderful guy.

I could go on and on, but I'll just let you get to know her yourself. If you're interested in getting to know Kelsea a little better be brave and leave me a comment! You've got nothing to loose! Or visit Kelsea's blog!

Score!

For some reason I was in the mood for some shopping on my lunch break yesterday, and boy did I hit the JACKPOT! I headed over to Belk just looking around not expecting to find anything. As I headed into the door I saw red dots everywhere! 75% off original price and 30% off that sale price!

I only had about thirty minutes to spend so I had to run!

Cute top originally $30.. I spend $6.99!

My feelings for rompers are wishy-washy. I can never decide if I like them or not. Well I found two of them yesterday, both originally priced for $40.. I got them for $6.99 each and I couldn't pass up the deal! So now I am going to be brave and try them out. I could only find a picture of one.

I was so excited about the deals I got! My other bargains were a cute dress for $8 and a jacket for $7!

I have been on a long time quest to find a good deal on a cute maxi dress. You know, the casual dresses that go all the way to the floor. I tried some on, and they swallow me! I am convinced I am too short to rock the maxi dress. I am still on the hunt though. I hope I can find one that is a little more fitted, I can even wear some wedges with it to add some height.

This one has been my favorite so far, but it's currently out of stock.

I have some exciting things planned for this weekend. Me and some friends are heading to Branson, MO. I haven't been since I was a little girl. We are the type of people that don't plan much, we just go with the flow. I know we are going to the Dixie Stampede, and we are going to do lots of shopping and sitting by the pool. Other than that we are just going to go where the wind takes us! Any suggestions for Branson?

Home

I spent this past weekend visiting my family in South Arkansas. It's always nice and refreshing to have a couple of days at home. In my small town it feels like things just move slower, in a good way. How precious is our town square?

This is my view on the way home. Lots of farm land.

I have lots of memories jumping on big bales of cotton, stopping by fields of corn and picking a few ears, and my friends and I even spend some summer nights on top of grain bins(like these below)looking at the stars.

I am loving these Southern Belle shirts lately. I have been seeing them everytime I got home. I'll leave ya with my favorite one!

I WON!

I won the blog makeover that Stephanie was giving away. I am just a little excited, and by a little a mean a whole lot! My mind has been turning trying to think of a design I would like.

Also, my friend Josh is leaving on Monday for Australia. He will be attending the Hillsong College in Sydney for a year. What a cool experience! Me and Josh have a love/hate relationship that we both laugh about.

I would use these words/phrases to describe him: hyper, ADHD to the max, caring, passionate, outgoing, and loving.

Josh was there to help me transition to college as a freshman and we have gone on many crazy adventures throughout my three years of college. He has been a vital part of of our BCM at college and I know he will do awesome in Sydney. It's gonna be a lot different without him around next year. I know it will be tough for him at first. He will miss his family/friends a lot, not to mention he has to learn all of those crazy Aussie words.

I am very proud of him for stepping out and following what God has called him to do. We will miss him a lot. So when you think about it just say a quick prayer for Josh.

This is a picture of Josh from last weekend. He is in the middle.

Happy THURSDAY!

That means only one more day until the weekend!
